The always cheerful and energetic Coach Jamal is arguably the most beloved basketball coach in the UAE, particularly among the younger age groups.  His ability to excite young beginners about the game along with his high energy style of coaching advanced players make him a players favorite.  A highly competitive and skilled professional basketball coach with excellent leadership and mentoring skills, Coach Jamal excels at motivating students to challenge themselves and set high personal standards for success.  

 

Coach Jamal is an experienced youth basketball development coach who shared his passion for the game with young athletes in both USA and UAE.  He has impacted the UAE basketball community at both the club level as well as the schools level.  As the head coach of the U14 boys basketball team at the American School of Dubai, his teams dominated the local schools league, highlighted by a full season in which his team was undefeated, and won numerous championships.

 

A longtime member of the Dubai Tribe coaching family, coach Jamal helped instill vital basketball fundamentals in the junior age groups of the program.  During competitions, he continued his track record of success winning multiple tournament championships at local club events.
