Dubai Tribe Basketball Club launched in 2007 as the first ever expat basketball club in the UAE. The Club program is distinguished from other UAE basketball programs by providing an advanced team oriented training approach. Team basketball concepts are progressively introduced over an entire school year in order to prepare elite basketball athletes for competition locally and internationally. An active local games schedule as well as opportunities to compete internationally are key foundational characteristics of the program. In fact Dubai Tribe Basketball Club is the first UAE team to ever compete in USA and Europe and our top athletes have done so almost annually since 2012.
The Dubai Tribe basketball philosophy combines the athletic up-tempo North American style of basketball with the tactical skill set of the European game providing our student athletes with a comprehensive international basketball development experience. Throughout the year program participants will also benefit from regular visits by guest speakers and trainers (former Olympic medalists, NCAA players, national team players, Professional players and coaches, international strength and conditioning coaches, etc.).
Graduates from our Club have received university basketball scholarships, competed at the university level in the Middle East, Europe and North America, participated in national team programs, and competed at semi-professional and professional ranks. Dubai Tribe Basketball Club is the first UAE program to produce USA NCAA players. Overall 10 of our graduates (9 boys and 1 girl) have played at the NCAA level.
Our coaching staff is the most accomplished youth development team in the Middle East and is uniquely experienced in preparing young athletes to compete at the university level and preparing them for professional playing careers. Athletic Performance Training
Dubai Tribe supports our athletes in their athletic performance training planning with a focus on developing strength, power, explosiveness, speed and quickness of our athletes to ensure they reach their maximum athletic potential and in a manner that will reduce risk of basketball related injuries.
Competition Season
The U18 boys team became the first expat team ever (regardless of age or gender) to officially register with the UAE Basketball Association and participate in the UAE 2019-2020 regular season (U19 Men's Division). During the 2022-2023 season our boys teams will compete in ALL UAE Basketball Association League age groups and will be the only expat club to do so. This will once again reaffirm our club's pioneering status in the UAE basketball community.
The 2025-2026 season will also see our teams compete in exhibition games versus local teams (expat programs and Emirati clubs), expat leagues, as well as international trips in Oman, Austria and USA (International trips to be confirmed based on players availability).

All expenses related to International tournaments, additional games, extra leagues, events, etc. will be charged to participants separately as and when they are incurred. ALL SUCH EXPENSES ARE EXPLICITLY EXCLUDED FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE FEES and will be charged to players.
REFUND POLICY
There are no cash refunds for basketball training services. In exceptional and/or medical circumstances (an official medical report must be provided justifying the participant's need to stop participation) refunds may be granted. Fees paid in respect of basketball training services comprise administration, business costs and tuition fee. In the event of a refund being awarded only the tuition fee will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of the payment term from the date that the refund was requested. All refunds are awarded at the discretion of management. In respect of any team kit purchased refunds will be awarded only in the event of the item being faulty. Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment.
RELATED REFUND POLICY
In the event we are unable to deliver services paid for by participants due to government regulations limiting our ability to deliver such services, all services paid for will be rescheduled to a future date/time when government regulations once again permit the delivery of the services. There will be no cash refunds for such services.
